Bar Prohibition! Bar
On December 5, 2013, Golden Gate Hotel & Casino celebrated 80 years since the dark days of Prohibition by fittingly renaming our original casino bar, “Bar Prohibition!” Throughout its long history, this original Golden Gate bar had operated under many guises. These included a Wild West watering hole on the last frontier, a place for the wild women of the roaring 20s to let loose, and a whiskey-washed hangout frequented by Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin during the Rat Pack era. The Golden Gate Hotel & Casino has been partying since 1906 and Bar Prohibition! continues the legacy that spans more than a century.
The Filament Bar Bar
The Filament, where drinking is always a bright idea. Check in when you’re here! #FilamentLV
Mega Bar Bar
Located on the first floor of the property, this high-energy space will give guests a chance to watch talented bartenders – known for their dazzling behind-the-bar flair skills – as they send bottles and glasses flying through the air all night long. Nevada’s longest indoor bar spanning 165 feet, MEGA BAR will operate as a sister concept to Stevens’ record-breaking 100-foot LONGBAR at the D Las Vegas. Featuring a back wall lined with narrow, red glass tiles, the space will be outfitted with 53 spots for seated, bar-top gaming; 40 double-stacked TVs for sports fans to catch all the gameday action; and 120 beer taps with a rotating selection.
